GETTING TO CAMPUS
In line with the University’s environment and climate emergency response, we encourage the use of sustainable travel to our venues.
The Streatham Campus is just a short walk from the centre of Exeter, as well as St David’s and Central train stations. Take a look at the City Centre Map, which outlines the best walking routes to campus from the centre of Exeter along with directions from both train stations.
As a cycle-friendly city, Exeter has many traffic-free, cycle routes, making it safe and easy to get to the Streatham Campus by bike. There are designated cycle parks near our venues, all of which you can be found on our Campus Map
CoBikes offer a sustainable way to get around Exeter. Bike hire is incredibly flexible, with prices starting at £1.50 for 15 minutes. Docking stations can be found at various locations around the city, including both train stations and outside the Forum building on the Streatham Campus.
Stagecoaches ‘Uni’ line bus operates a regular service between both campuses via the centre of Exeter.
National Express coaches also operate from the Exeter Coach Station, which is just a short walk from the city centre.
Exeter has two railway stations. Central station is in the city centre, just a 10-minute stroll from campus. St David’s, the mainline station, is again just 10 minutes from campus, with taxis available outside.
Apple Taxis Exeter (01392 666666) have a dedicated taxi rank on campus. Apple Taxis have offices at both Exeter St David’s rail station and Exeter International Airport
