It is with much excitement that Forum Kitchen has opened up its doors and as the latest addition to the University’s campus food scene, is now a buzzing hive of activity. Slap bang in the middle of campus, attached to the Forum Building, this new social hub for students to meet and eat, is the first of its kind for the University.
FROM VISION TO REALITY
The vision for Forum Kitchen was to build on the ever-growing street food culture and the desire for instant, fresh, innovative food trends. This collaborative space features an ever-changing culinary calendar, reflecting and celebrating the diversity across the University campuses.
With three food vendors trading at any given time, the space opens up a new opportunity for independent food suppliers from the city and beyond. A sense of community prevails as vendors have the chance to showcase their wares to the student and staff community, whilst working alongside the University’s own catering and retail team, a permanent resident in the venue.
From tacos to pancakes, noodles to fries, the constant variation in food choices and styles means there’s always a reason to return for more.
PRIVATE HIRE
With minimalist décor and a funky industrial twist, Forum Kitchen makes a great space for private events – open mic nights, drinks receptions, to name but a few.
If you have a vision for an event in this space, drop an email to forumkitchen@exeter.ac.uk and we’ll happily help bring it to life.
