Here’s a look at what’s coming up from September 2025 through to the New Year and beyond…
September 2025
Saturday 6th September – Day Fever Exeter
Let your hair down at this vibrant daytime disco at the Lemon Grove – a party for those who remember the golden age of pop (and love to dance before dark!).
Sunday 7th September – Dara Ó Briain: Re:Creation
One of the UK’s most popular comedians brings his razor-sharp wit to the Great Hall for an unforgettable night of laughs.
Tuesday 9th September – Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra: Moser Plays Dvořák
The BSO launches its Exeter concert season with Beethoven, Smetana, and Dvořák in the stunning Great Hall.
Sunday 28th September – Miriam Margolyes: From A to Z
Join this national treasure for an evening of outrageous anecdotes, heartfelt moments, and candid reflections.
October 2025
Thursday 9th October – Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra: The Power of Love
Featuring Schubert and Zemlinsky, this concert offers an evening of rich, romantic music in an iconic university setting.
Saturday 18th October – Newton Faulkner
Known for his soulful voice and acoustic flair, Newton brings his hits to the Lemon Grove for a relaxed, intimate show.
Sunday 26th October – Fisherman’s Friends
Enjoy an evening of rousing sea shanties and coastal charm from Cornwall’s favourite folk crew.
Monday 27th October – Grayson Perry: Are You Good?
The Turner Prize-winning artist explores morality, identity, and society with his trademark humour and insight.
November 2025
Saturday 1st November – Jon Ronson’s Psychopath Night
An engaging, darkly funny talk on the science and stories behind psychopathy, from the author of The Psychopath Test.
Saturday 1st November – James Marriott
Brighton singer-songwriter James Marriott brings his heartfelt, genre-blending debut EP Bitter Tongues to The Lemon Grove as part of his UK tour.
Saturday 8th & Wednesday 12th November – Josh Widdicombe: Not My Cup of Tea
Two nights of fast-paced stand-up from the popular comedian and panel show regular.
Thursday 13th November – Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra: Sunshine & Shade
A beautiful blend of Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn and Fauré to lift the autumn mood.
Saturday 15th November – Urzila Carlson
A big name in Australasian comedy, Urzila brings her infectious humour to Exeter on her UK tour.
Thursday 27th November – Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra: Hollywood Hit
Enjoy a night of cinematic splendour with music by Korngold, Dvořák, and Liszt.
December 2025
Friday 19th December – BSO: Last Night of the Christmas Proms
The holiday season begins in style with festive favourites and a joyful atmosphere.
Sunday 21st December – Step into Christmas
A feel-good festive celebration perfect for all ages – expect music, lights and plenty of seasonal cheer.

February 2026 – Sue Perkins
The much-loved presenter, author and comedian shares hilarious insights and stories from a colourful career.
April 2026 – Chris McCausland: Yonks!
Brighton-based comedian Chris McCausland brings his acclaimed stand-up show “Yonks!” to Exeter – a witty, character-filled retrospective of his life and career
Venues and Visitor Information
Most events take place at:
The Great Hall – the University’s flagship performance space on Streatham Campus, just a short drive or bus ride from Exeter city centre.
The Lemon Grove (Lemmy) – a more intimate venue for live music and late-night events.
Northcott Theatre – a vibrant hub for drama and independent theatre on campus.
Ample visitor parking is available on campus. The venues are also accessible via local buses and taxis from Exeter city centre and train stations.
